Parallel Kitchen

The most common instance of a parallel kitchen layout has a wall unit for storage, a living room, equipment, and a cooktop. This is practical because, on one side, it maintains all gas, plumbing and electrical connections while on the other hand, this increases the storage capacity. Such a kitchen is almost exclusively used to prepare meals. Alternatively, you can also build a parallel layout for an open space solution with greater flexibility by combining a wall unit with a very large island overlooking the living space.
